The Learning Federation of Australia have been charged with the responsibility of creating online learning resources for schools in Australia and New Zealand. They outsource contracts to multimedia development companies to produce each set of learning objects. I was contracted to develop creative proposals for Innovation Enterprise and Creativity subject matter. Focusing on the arts, initial proposals developed into the Sonic series and Arts Scratch learning objects. Sonic Space, Sonic Time, Sonic Motion allowed creative exploration of found sounds. Sonic Space let students create recordable soundscapes. Sonic Time let students make Foley sound tracks to animated sequences. And Sonic Motion let students create animated sequences to an existing sound track. The Arts Scratch series revolved around visual arts and let student explore layering of imagery, scratching layers and creating meaning through relationships between content. The viewable learning object linked to here is an Alpha version and is not complete.
